Although altruistic giving should remain a year-round act, we love that the holidays tend to bring out everyone's inner Kris Kringle. The delivery of gifts, food, warmth, and, most importantly, hope during this season are reminders of how generous the human spirit can be.
As you hang your stockings with care and review your family's wish list, don't forget to include the names and faces of people you may not know at all; the homeless, the starving, those suffering from disease and/or loss, the list goes on and on. Fortunately, Houston has a wealth of non-profit organizations to choose from and something should spark your interest.
Now, you may not always receive recognition like this:

At MFI, our daily goal is to deliver exceptional beauty to every client's home. We're happy that, through the wonderful work so many non-profits do in the Houston area, we can deliver beauty and light to others as well.
